Snickerdoodle Cookies

1: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and 3/4 cup of sugar (save the other 1/4 for later).

2: Add in the egg, mix, and then add the milk and vanilla.

3: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar.

4: Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and fold until just combined. Make sure not to overmix.

5: Cover the mixture and set it in the fridge for an hour.

6: Once ready, preheat the oven to 325°F.

7: Mix together the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon.

8: Scoop out the dough balls (1 ounce scoop) and roll them into the remaining coating.

9: Bake for 12-14 minutes.

10: Let cool for 10 minutes.
