Salted Caramel Blondies

1: Cream together butter and sugar until smooth.

2: Add vanilla and eggs to the butter-sugar mix and set aside.

3: In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

4: Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until barely combined (still see flour streaks).

5: Add in chocolate chips and skor pieces, and do not overmix.

6: Optional: Pour half of the dough into a 9x9 pan, layer with 1/4 cup of caramel, then add the other half of the dough, topping with additional chocolate pieces.

7: Alternatively, add caramel at the end as preferred.

8: Bake at 325°F for 35-40 minutes.

9: Once cooled a bit out of the oven, add the rest of the caramel and top with flaky salt.
