Delicious Oreo cinnamon rolls made with a rich dough and a sweet filling. The rolls are topped with a creamy icing, perfect for breakfast or dessert. Includes warm milk, yeast, sugar, eggs, and crushed Oreos for a delightful twist.
Add warm milk into a large bowl and sprinkle on the yeast. Mix lightly and add in the sugar, eggs, and melted butter.
If using active dry yeast, activate it in warm milk and sugar before adding the other ingredients.
Add in flour, Oreo crumbs, and salt. Knead for about 8-10 minutes and then let rise for an hour.
For the bottom layer, mix melted unsalted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, heavy cream, dark cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt together and add to the bottom of the baking tray.
For the filling, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter well. Spread on rolled-out dough, then top with crushed Oreos and optional white chocolate chips.
Roll the dough tightly and cut into 8 equal pieces. Place the rolls on top of the bottom layer and let rise for 30-45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 33-38 minutes, checking after 30 minutes for doneness.
For the icing, cream together butter and cream cheese, add vanilla, and mix well. Slowly add powdered sugar, optionally adding a bit of milk to thin out.
Spread the frosting on top of warm rolls.
