Chocolate Banana Brownies

In a medium bowl, gradually microwave 1 cup of chocolate and 1/2 cup butter in 20 second increments so that it doesn't burn the chocolate. Once all combined and smooth, set aside.

In a large bowl, mash bananas well and then add in the sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, and vanilla.

Add in the melted chocolate mixture and fold gently until smooth.

Add in flour and salt, mixing until there are still flour streaks.

Fold in the rest of the chopped chocolate (1/2 cup).

(Optional) Add a bit more chocolate on top before baking.

Bake at 325°F for 30-35 minutes in a 9x9 pan.
